Sherwood Wildlife Gardens

Wildlife Gardens. Wildlife Ponds. Wilder Community Spaces

Sherwood Wildlife Gardens is a company that has developed out of Sherwood Garden Consultancy’s knowledge, experience and expertise.

Our purpose is simple - to create nature rich spaces for people and wildlife.

The UK’s wildlife is continuing to decline, already being classified as one of the world’s most nature-depleted countries, our garden wildlife is in danger - hedgehogs, birds, newts, butterflies are all in decline and nearly one in six species of wildlife are at risk. More than half of our flowering plant species have been lost for ever. It’s well overdue time to do something.

We are here to help, garden by garden, pond by pond, one community space at a time, we can help you make a difference.

I have an extended certificate in horticulture with the RHS and I am a member of the Gardeners Guild. Since setting up my sustainable, organic garden design and build business 5 years ago I have developed a proven track record of developing green spaces for wildlife and people.

I am chair of Nottingham Organic Gardeners and a member of Wild NG.

Our latest project

The wildlife pond as a centre piece with a range of habitats - wood, rocks, gravel, sand, pebbles and subsoils adds beauty, interest and a focal point for people and wildlife.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure having Andy create our wildlife pond and habitat. From start to finish he has been so knowledgeable, experienced, and professional in working with us to create this beautiful space.”
